InternationalDepartment Field Trip Report
On October 17,2016 the students in the international department reported on their field tripsin room411 at a meeting attended by the rest of the teachers and students. Eachclass spoke about their experiences and what they learned on the trips. Theschool also presented students with rewards for exceptional behavior.
The Senior Oneand two classes spent 2 weeks studying abroad in America, where they notonly took around some universities, but also experienced courses of universityand visited many famous place of interest.
Professors gavea demonstration, and after seeing the skill, the students were very excited totry for themselves. But when the students broke up into small groups and beganto work with the clay, they discovered that chemical experiments isharder than it looks! After a few failures to control the precise of theresults, the students discovered that no longer what activity you are doing,you have to work hard and cooperate in order to become skillful. these twogroups showed the colorful trip by introduced in three aspect:university, homestay and activities. the next group showed their trip inStanford University, the same as thegroups before, they gained knowledge andexperience as well.
The fourth student looked around the orange lightgame company，afterintroducing the content he learnt， heintroduced professionaly about the employment direction about games. Thenext students is the only 10th grade one in the presentation, and he is alsothe leader of the astronomy club. His topic is ‘activities in astronomy club(2016) ‘. He not only introduced the interesting activities, but alsoencouraged everyone to join in.
The students of the sixth grouptook part in the city science festival,and improved their ability while theywere interpreting the principles of the experiences. The students whowore special clothes are the students who went to Cambodia to build a canteenfor the children there. they got a deep thought about the flavor of the life.
The eighthgroup’s students went to the sanatorium to bring warmness tothe children with intellectual disabilities. and the most acadamicpresentation is about research of the sculpture in Wangjing district whichpresented by the ninth group.The last student went to the Loulai home textileproducts company to do the research, and showed us the beautiful decoration inthe filming location
Finally, Ms. Zhangpronouncedher judgements on the field trip reports. After praising thewonderfulpresentations, she elaborated on her hopes for the students. She saidthat she hoped the students had gotten to the root of understanding the“Chinesespirit,” and had learned a lot about the business world.
Through the field trippresentation, studentsshared their experiences and their impressions of the day and learned abouteach other’s activities. The students all gained a lot fromtheir experience and learned things which they can apply in their dailylivesand their future careers.
