2015年10月15日，国际部社会实践报告会在411多功能厅举行。全体师生都参加了这次报告会，学校为表现优秀的同学颁发了奖状。
在这次社会实践展示会中，各班派代表和大家分享了他们的所见、所闻和所感。高一年级去了神笛陶艺村，在那里，他们了解到陶艺的悠久历史和景德镇的文化，动手制作了陶艺和彩绘，深刻体会到了中华文化的魅力。制造陶艺品和彩绘是同学们此次经历的最难忘之处。看到老师们做陶艺很娴熟，同学们都跃跃欲试。而同学们分成小组亲自体验的时候，却难以控制陶制品的形状，明白了无论做什么都要勤学苦练，熟能生巧，而且需要团队合作。每个同学对陶制品的设计和图案的彩绘都各不相同，展现了同学们的创造力和想象力。
接下来的小组展示了他们的红星美凯龙之旅。在红星美凯龙，他们看到了一家木具店是如何经历数次革新，而成长为今天的红星美凯龙。看到了红星美凯龙的发展史，同学们联想到了班级。一个班级也需要像一个企业一样不断革新，不断取长补短，学习企业的管理结构，才能有更好的发展。除此之外，同学们还参观了名匠木坊。名匠木坊的家具全部使用抗腐蚀性强的榆木制造。在制作家具时，工匠们从来不用钉子，而用木头拼接——这是中华民族流传下来的传统工艺。同学们不禁敬佩中国古代能工巧匠们的智慧。
11-A1班的同学们参观了麦当劳，他们在麦当劳的宣传片里了解到，很多人选择麦当劳作为自己的第一份工作。为了进一步了解麦当劳，他们体验了麦当劳员工们的工作——生产制作。当进入后台时，每个同学都被要求佩戴发帽和口罩，同学们感受到了麦当劳重视卫生，规范严谨。在亲身体验的过程中，他们看到了工作流水线的井然有序，明白了麦当劳员工是如何高效工作的。看到麦当劳对每一位员工严格要求，关心每一个顾客的需求，同学们明白了麦当劳从一家小快餐店变成很多人的工作首选的原因。
11-A2班的同学们去了佳美口腔医院。他们不仅了解到了牙科知识，参观诊室和手术室，更体会到了佳美口腔医院的人性化服务以及职业素养。无论是佳美口腔医院优雅的环境，还是医护人员谨慎地为手术器械消毒的高职业道德，都给他们留下了深刻的印象。在佳美口腔医院，他们学到了对待工作要爱岗敬业，认真负责，为他人考虑，无私奉献。
最后，崔主任给予了这次社会实践报告会极高的评价。在表扬同学们的精彩展示之余，她更提出了殷切希望。她希望同学们理解“中华魂”的精髓，激发学习兴趣，对企业进行深入探究。同学们也表示，通过本次社会实践报告会，既分享了自己的经历，也交流了自己的感受。他们都表示，在这次社会实践展示会，他们收获良多。
On October 15, 2015 thestudents in the international department reported on their field trips in room411 at a meeting attended by the rest of the teachers and students. Eachclass spoke about their experiences and what they learned on thetrips. The school also presented students with rewards for exceptionalbehavior.
The Senior One classvisited the Shen Di Pottery Village, where they studied the history and cultureof Jingdezhen and learned how to make and paint pottery. Teachers from thevillage gave a ceramics demonstration, and after seeing their skill, thestudents were very excited to try for themselves. But when the students brokeup into small groups and began to work with the clay, they discovered thatpottery is harder than it looks! After a few failures to translate the shapesin their minds into the clay, the students discovered that no longer whatactivity you are doing, you have to work hard and cooperate in order to becomeskillful. In the end, the students learned about the charm of ancient Chineseculture, and showed their imagination through creative designs and paintedpatterns.
The next group of studentspresented about their trip to the Mars Mei Kai Long Furniture Mall, where theyobserved the business practices of the furniture stores. They saw howsuccessive renovations had recently improved one of the furniture stores andthe mall as a whole. The improvements made them think of the classroom. Aclass, like a business, has to constantly reinvent itself in order to function.A class has to frankly examine its own shortcomings and imitate others in orderto improve. Only by studying the management tactics that make a businesssucceed can a class develop successfully. Students also visited Ming Jiang MuFang, a furniture store. Their furniture is made of elm wood coated with ananti-corrosion mixture. The carpenters do not use hammers or nails, but insteadpress together the different components one by one, in a craft passed down by generationsof artisans. The students found themselves admiring the wisdom of ancientChinese carpenters.
Students from Class 11-A1spoke about their trip to McDonalds. During the day, they tried out the dailytasks of a McDonalds employee in order to greater understand businesspractices. Upon entering the kitchen, every student was told to put on ahairnet and a face mask. This showed the strict hygiene standards adopted byMcDonalds. Through observing workers in actions, students learned about the orderedprocesses of the assembly line, and they understood the high efficiency ofMcDonalds work. After seeing the strict requirements of McDonalds towards theiremployees and their care for each customer, the students understood howMcDonalds had grown from a single drive in restaurant to an internationalcompany, and why so many people want to work there. In their presentationsabout the day, they showed that they had gained an understanding of McDonalds,and many students even said that they would like to work there for their firstjob.
The students in Class 11-A2went to Jiamei Dental Hospital. They visited the consulting room and thesurgery room, and also learned about the personal service provided by thehospital and professional accomplishments of the doctors. Whether it was thegreat environment or the professional integrity with which medicalprofessionals sterilized the surgical equipment, the hospital left a strongimpression on the visiting students. At the hospital, the students learned thatyou should love your work, take responsibility for your actions, focuscompletely on the people you serve, and selflessly work for the community.
Finally, Ms. Cui pronouncedher judgements on the field trip reports. After praising the wonderfulpresentations, she elaborated on her hopes for the students. She said that shehoped the students had gotten to the root of understanding the “Chinesespirit,” and had learned a lot about the business world.
Through the field trippresentation, students shared their experiences and their impressions of theday and learned about each other’s activities. The students all gained a lotfrom their experience and learned things which they can apply in their dailylives and their future careers.
